Why watch the movie Playing with Sharks: The Valerie Taylor Story?
""Playing with Sharks: The Valerie Taylor Story" is a Disney+ original documentary that tells the story of Valerie Taylor, a great underwater hunter in 1950 who decided to stop hunting to study more about sharks and, in this way, show the world that they are not fearsome creatures with a hunger for humans. Her work has become essential for many who study sharks today. The documentary brings together amazing underwater images and videos, as well as interviews with Valerie herself, reflecting on how she went from a hunter to a lover and protector of sharks. It is with this structure that the documentary seeks to create this discussion and reflection in its viewers, and break the myth that sharks are cold and murderous creatures."
