Why watch the movie Afterlife of the Party?
"Despite seeming like just another algorithm-generated movie dedicated to the TikTok generation, 'Afterlife of the Party' manages to be surprisingly interesting. It does indeed make critiques of people who prefer to live their life on the internet rather than in reality, but it manages to break away from this common place and go further. With an idea different from the usual, we follow the charismatic Victoria Justice trying to reach heaven after a sudden death, with plenty of good humor and the right dose of sensitivity."
