""Safer at Home" is one of the first films in which the plot takes place in a world during the coronavirus pandemic. The movie follows a group of friends who, after 2 years of social isolation decree, have an online party with games, drinks and drugs. However, things quickly get out of control, showing how staying at home in isolation becomes a more frightening experience than the world outside. It is a movie that uses the 'desktop movie' approach, which in this case are movies that take place on computer screens, TV reports, security cameras, etc. Good examples of this type of movie are 'Searching...', 'Host' and 'Unfriended'. It is intense and very scary because it takes place in a universe that we are currently living in."
