"This is the second production from Mexican filmmaker Eva Villaseñor, with a personal style similar to her first movie, "Hidden Memory." In "M," the director creates a fragmented journey through the story of her brother, rapper from Aguascalientes Miguel Ángel Villaseñor (known as Tankeone), trapped in Mexico's context of violence and drug addiction. At the same time, it’s a family reunion and a deeply subjective representation of its protagonist’s mental experiences, from fans' admiration to personal self-destruction, with the fragmented structure that such a tale requires."
