Why watch the movie A Cisterna?
"Directed and written by Cristiano Vieira ('I'm Sorry'), 'The Cistern' is one of those suspense films that doesn't just stay in fear of what might happen in the next scene. Here, the filmmaker tells the story of Lorena (Fernanda Vasconcellos), an ambitious TV presenter on her way to success who is kidnapped and held hostage in an underground cistern. From there, we get to know not only the antagonists of this story (and of Lorena's life, of course), but also her deepest fears coming to the surface. Special mention goes to Fernanda Vasconcellos' performance (from 'Dead Volume'), who manages to give even more depth to the story with a precise interpretation of her character."
