Why watch the movie No One Gets Out Alive?
""No One Gets Out Alive" is not the first horror involving immigration and its dilemmas on the streaming platform -- "What Remains Behind" managed to reverse the main clichés of the genre with a strong and provocative story. Now, in this British film directed by debutant Santiago Menghini, the terror of xenophobia and fear of the unknown gains a few more layers with the story of an immigrant in search of the American dream who enters a nightmare routine in the boarding house she chose to live in. Scary in the right measure, with some well-fitted "jump scares", the feature film fulfills its role of horror while also reflecting on the challenges of immigration in the 21st century."
