"Turkish police thriller 'Kin' tells the story of an inspector who gets involved in a serious accident, discovering a revenge scheme that threatens his colleagues. Directed by Turkan Derya, known for his work on television series, the Netflix exclusive production bets on some clichés to balance its story and make it closer to the audience. However, despite this, Derya inserts some elements of Turkish culture, as well as deeper aspects of society, which makes the audience travel around the world without leaving their living room sofa. Special mention to the protagonist Yilmaz Erdogan, from 'Promessas de Guerra', with a performance that knows how to mix the emotion and tension of his character in the middle of this complicated situation."
