"Blumhouse and Prime Video's partnership is back! The "Welcome To The Blumhouse" project launched in 2020 with the release of four horror films on Prime Video. The reception was mixed but still a success in terms of numbers. In 2021, they're back. 'The Manor' is one of the project's films, and tells the story of Judith Albright, an elderly woman who moves into a historic retirement home after suffering a stroke. Thus, she begins to experience what she believes to be supernatural occurrences that make her think something is stalking the residents of the place. Judith is played by actress Barbara Hershey, known to genre fans for her role in the 'Supernatural' franchise. It's a tense and agonizing film, which knows how to build its atmosphere and chooses a conducive environment to situate the story. A great choice to leave horror fans biting their nails."
