Why watch the movie Honey Girls?
"Starring singer Ashanti, 'Honey Girls' is a story about how music helps celebrate individuality and how we express ourselves. In the story, Ashanti brings to life global superstar Fancy G, who holds a contest to find a new pop star. The competitors realize they are "better together" and secretly form a band called the Honey Girls and become a huge success. The movie discusses whether fame or friendship is most important. It's a lighthearted production with good music that harkens back to teen movies of the 1990s and 2000s, like 'Bring It On'."
