""We Broke Up" is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Lori and Doug, a long-term couple who suddenly break up after Lori reacts badly to Doug's surprise marriage proposal. However, Lori's younger sister's wedding is coming up and the two decide to pretend they are still together. The funniest part of the movie is the intense situation created between the two as they have to pretend they are still together after a recent breakup, and, to make matters worse, attend the wedding that could have been their own. This is extremely well handled by the director and the lead pair. It is a light movie, to watch with family or your crush, and it creates reflections about relationships and what we are 'pretending' within them."
