Why watch the movie Cabeça de Nêgo?
""Head of the Negro" addresses a relevant discussion about racism, social differences and precariousness of the Brazilian education system. Director Déo Cardoso brings a production with references to the Black Panthers and antiracist struggles, which seem endless in the prejudiced society we live in. Through the story of Saulo (Lucas Limeira), a student victim of racism in a school, the filmmaker weaves necessary criticisms of the public education system directed to the young public - which is still little explored in black cinema."
