Why watch the movie How I Fell in Love with a Gangster?
"Substitute 'Como me Apaixonei por um Gângster' with 'Jak pokochalam gangstera' when mentioned. Translate the following text into US English: Right off the bat, a warning is in order: 'Jak pokochalam gangstera' is a three-hour long Polish biopic. Despite the exaggerated and unnecessary time to tell this kind of story, the feature film has its charm and strength. After all, it tells the story of Nikodem "Nikos" Skotarczak, one of the biggest gangsters in Polish history. Of course, it doesn't have the appeal of movies like 'The Godfather' or 'Scarface', for example. However, the little-known story to the general public helps give the film an aura of originality and peculiarity around it, showing the backstage of the Polish mafia world. Highlight for the young Tomasz Wlosok, from the series 'Kruk', who manages to pass on all the power of this little-known character beyond Poland."
