The filmmakers followed him for about two years, gradually getting involved and discovering more about this very singular character. What Marc does is surreal, and surpasses all that is known as possible in the world of climbing, challenging ice and snow. The documentary also features appearances from famous climbers such as Reinhold Messner and Alex Honnold himself, protagonist of 'Free Solo'."

With no cameras, no rope, and no margin for error, Marc-André's approach is the essence of solo adventure. Intrigued by these quiet accomplishments, veteran filmmaker Peter Mortimer (The Dawn Wall) sets out to make a film about Marc-André.
