Based on the true story of Sweden's biggest court scandal, a journalist discovers that the man accused of being the country's biggest serial killer may have been wrongfully imprisoned. Now he is determined to investigate the case until he discovers the truth.
"Sture Bergwall, more commonly known as Thomas Quick, was accused of more than 30 murders in Sweden - being convicted of eight of those crimes. However, some time later, investigative journalist Hannes Råstam uncovered a large scheme of manipulation, unmasking to the public a case of judicial fraud. 'Quick' brings precisely this trajectory, revealing not only the work of journalistic investigation but also how the judicial system can be manipulated from weak or false evidence. The direction is by Mikael Håfström, who was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Film for 'Evil: Roots of Evil'."
