Bassley, a Nigerian footballer living in Vietnam, has been unable to make a living since he broke his leg. He and four middle-aged women he sometimes works for decide to escape to an old house, where together they create a special world for themselves. But this intimate utopia cannot last forever.

"Directed by Bao Le, of 'Mùi', the feature film 'Vi' is a production that plays with the feelings and senses of the viewer. In the plot, Le tells the story of a Nigerian soccer player who lives in Vietnam and can't make a living since he broke his leg. His life takes a turn, however, when he and four other middle-aged women decide to escape their daily lives to live together in a house. From there, Le plays with all the possibilities of this unusual intimate life, with a Wong Kar-Wai feel, showing how people behave, live and understand each other in new spaces."
