Why watch the movie War for the Planet of the Apes?
"More than just an action-filled movie full of special effects and big scenes (which, with praise, is also the case here), this super production from filmmaker Matt Reeves offers one more layer to the philosophical discussion about the essence of humanity initiated by the classic 1968 - transforming the feature film into a great metaphor about our world today, making us think. Highlight for Woody Harrelson, highly energetic and magnetic as the antagonist Colonel, plus the brilliant Andy Serkis, as the intelligent leader ape Caesar - in another revolutionary performance with motion capture technology."
