Set in a post-apocalyptic world, this Swedish action thriller follows six soldiers sent on a covert mission to transport a mysterious package across a frozen archipelago without knowing what dangers lie ahead or who - if anyone - they can trust.
"A strange idea, a post-apocalyptic war thriller with ice skating, is exactly what Netflix's 'Svart krabba' delivers. The world has been devastated by war and during an unforgiving winter, a group of soldiers are assigned an essentially suicidal mission, where they must cross the ice to deliver a package that could end the conflict. Among the soldiers is Caroline Edh (Noomi Rapace, from 'Lamb'), for whom the mission is personal, as it could be her chance to retrieve her daughter. Aside from the peculiarity of the ice skating, 'Svart krabba' is very much like other thrillers of the genre, being equally violent and exciting. There are interesting visuals and Rapace's performance is more shocking than ever. It won't change the history of the genre, but it's very entertaining, so it will satisfy those who like this type of movie."
