"Historical drama based on facts about World War II, 'Operation Mincemeat' follows two British agents who devise a peculiar way to deceive the Nazis and change the course of the conflict. Despite the serious theme, the movie manages to have light moments, which gives a different treatment to this type of story - which can please or not, as it can sound disrespectful to some. Thus, the feature is witty, entertaining and adequately full of suspense with a well-crafted story. John Madden's direction is excellent, developing an engaging rhythm from the start. The cast of the production, formed by Colin Firth, Matthew Macfadyen, Kelly Macdonald, Jason Isaacs and Penelope Wilton, is great."
