Artists fight censorship and far-right violence in Brazil
Trailer
Why watch the movie Quem tem Medo??
"What are the effects of Bolsonarism, beyond the government of Jair Bolsonaro, on Brazilian arts? That's exactly what 'Who's Afraid?' seeks to examine. Ricardo Alves Jr., Dellani Lima and Henrique Zanoni direct this documentary that dives into the history of performances and artists who have been censored or suffered reprisals from conservatives. These are strong stories that show violence not only against the art of these people, but also against their bodies, their thoughts, and the way they see the world."
