Tati, an introspective 13 year old girl struggles to connect with her estranged father, Jaca, after he is released from prison in the turbulent wake of the Rio Olympics.
"Tati (Cassia Gil) is an introspective girl, living in a favela in Rio, with a gray life. After all, her mother (Débora Nascimento, unrecognizable) is a drug addict and constantly forces the 13-year-old girl to do things she shouldn't. Meanwhile, her father (Bukassa Kabengele) has just been released from prison and the community is talking about one thing: will he take back control of the neighborhood? It is at this moment in Tati's life that 'Pacificado' dives in, showing the dilemmas in the adolescent's life and how the violence around her may not directly threaten her, but make her life transform randomly, without order and without a real future. Cassia Gil is good in her first role in a feature film, but it is Nascimento and Kabengele who steal the scene, with impressive forces in each of their characters."
