“The genocide of indigenous peoples is not in the past, as many still think.” Based on the diary written in 1910 by British diplomat Roger Casement, when he was investigating the slave system implemented in Putumayo, in the Amazon, by rubber entrepreneurs. The documentary reveals, with great determination and courage, the crime of a criminal organization that killed more than 30,000 indigenous people in this forgotten part of the world, which Casement uncovered in the last century.
