Why watch the movie Florence Foster Jenkins?
"What can be said, at this point, about Meryl Streep? Once again, the actress is impeccable, now portraying Florence Foster Jenkins in a story based on true facts. Part of the secret of the movie's success lies in the fact that neither she nor director, Stephen Frears, treat the protagonist as a joke. Thus, an interesting drama emerges from a comedy."
