A young businessman tries to start a fishing company in a remote town in the Argentine Patagonia.
"Rodrigo Fernandez Engler ('Soldado Argentino solo conocido por Dios') delivers in his second feature film a character study that takes different paths. From the idea of realizing a terrible ambition, to the rise and subsequent fall of a man who loses his scruples: the best son of a powerful fishing family who, with all intention of making his place in business, gradually loses his way. 'Yo, traidor' also proposes a redemption for the character, which would not be credible without the leading role of Mariano Martínez, an actor accustomed above all to television, who here makes the leap and manages to stand up. A story about betrayals that aims to alert about excessive ambition."
