Why watch the movie Peter von Kant?
""The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant" is a 1970s film by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, based on a play he wrote. "Peter von Kant" is a new adaptation of Fassbinder's text with direction by François Ozon ("Summer of 85"). Starring Isabelle Adjani, Denis Ménochet and Khalil Ben Gharbia, the film recaptures all the theatrical authenticity of the story, with striking sets, colors, soundtrack and the lack of dialogue from one of the characters. It is a very well-constructed production that explores the vices of society and human nature. "Peter von Kant" goes far beyond a simple comedy."
