Why watch the movie Northern Skies Over Empty Space?
"Selected at Berlinale and the Morelia International Film Festival 2022, this film is written and directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella, the mind behind the internationally acclaimed drama Las niñas bien. El norte sobre el vacío also has the attractive feature of being based on a true story: that of Mexican entrepreneur and hunter Alejo Garza Tamez, who in 2010 confronted organized crime. This cinematic adaptation, however, focuses more on posing relevant questions about courage, masculinity and heroism."
