Why watch the movie Aftersun?
"Named one of the 100 best films of the century by The New York Times. Aftersun is one of those films with an extremely simple plot that nevertheless hides a devastating power. Director Charlotte Wells' feature debut is the story of an 11-year-old girl and her fond memories of her last holiday with her father at a Turkish beach resort. That's enough for a deeply moving cinematic experience, as visually poetic as it is narratively painful, in a portrait of a broken family about to change forever."
