Why watch the movie Violent Night?
"After Mel Gibson portrayed a realistic Santa Claus in 'Between Arms and Toys', it's time for 'Violent Night' to present the violent old man. That's right: David Harbour ('Stranger Things') is a Santa Claus who, while distributing presents on Christmas night, finds a family being held hostage by dangerous criminals. That's where director Tommy Wirkola ('Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters') lets loose, putting this rough Santa, with a strong foot in traditional tales about this figure, facing off with the criminals - using a hammer that helps even more to build the image of this "bad boy" Santa. Fun and with plenty of blood splattering on the screen."
