Blue Beetle

"Based on the latest iteration of DC Comics' lesser-known superhero - Blue Beetle is the story of a Latinx college grad, Jaime Reyes (Xolo Maridueña, star of Cobra Kai), who returns home to Cidade Palmera only to face an uncertain future. However, everything changes when he accidentally gets caught up in a corporate intrigue to acquire the "Blue Beetle", an alien device with a mind of its own that chooses him as its human host, granting him an incredible armor and superpowers. It's a fun action movie that shines when it allows its cast's (featuring Latin American names such as Adriana Barraza, Damián Alcázar, and Bruna Marquezine) charisma to come through, though it doesn't offer anything we haven't already seen in other superhero film series, from DC or other studios."
