Why watch the movie Ballerina?
"Following in the footsteps of Korean action films starring women, such as The Villainess and Kill Boksoon, the movie Ballerina isn't afraid to shock – it consciously exaggerates the blood, adrenaline, and fighting. Meanwhile, the story follows a former bodyguard who, grieving the loss of her best friend after failing to protect her, will stop at nothing to fulfill her friend's last wish: revenge. It's a visually daring film that manages to bring the best of Korean action cinema to the table: stunning choreography and an engaging, thought-provoking plot."
