Why watch the movie Saltburn?
"This is Emerald Fennell's second film as a director, who won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for 'Promising Young Woman.' 'Saltburn' follows a young student, Oliver (Barry Keoghan, 'The Banshees of Inisherin'), who feels a deep attraction to a charming and wealthier classmate, Felix (Jacob Elordi, 'Euphoria'), who invites him to spend the summer at Saltburn, the extensive estate of his eccentric family, where he gets caught in a spiral of intrigue. Mixing satire and fantasy – perhaps not as incisive as its predecessor – the film addresses themes of deception and attraction between social classes, and features excellent performances by Keoghan, Elordi, as well as a cast including Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, and Alison Oliver."
