"Bob Marley: One Love is a movie for fans. After all, this feature film directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (of the award-winning King Richard) is not exactly concerned with telling a story with a clear goal and an emotional climax, but rather with stacking various important moments in the life of the Jamaican musician, such as the assassination attempt on his life, the success he began to achieve when he was in Europe, his relationship with Rastafarianism, and the like. Kingsley Ben-Adir's performance (One Night in Miami) is well above average, and better than the rest of the entire film, but it's not enough to save it. There are still more evident problems here. Nevertheless, Bob Marley: One Love should thrill fans of the Jamaican, who will enjoy seeing the singer's fleeting trajectory."
