Why watch the movie The Last Repair Shop?
"Nominated for the 2024 Oscar, The Last Repair Shop is a beautiful short film that follows four people with a seemingly small but very significant job: repairing musical instruments for free for children from public schools, in the last shop of its kind in Los Angeles, active since 1959. More than explaining the importance of the shop, however, the short explores deeper issues such as pure kindness and the need to give things a second chance, to repair everything from a musical instrument to a country. A beautiful piece of cinema filled with joy and hope."
