Why watch the movie Arthur the King?
"Stories based on true events tend to be somewhat manipulative and sentimental, with an idealized view of the facts. And if there's a dog involved, the effect is doubled. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as Arthur the King demonstrates. Set in 2014, the plot follows an endurance athlete (Mark Wahlberg) who, during a race with his team, encounters a lost puppy that accompanies them throughout the journey. Poignant in not-so-subtle ways, you'll enjoy it if you like movies inspired by true events... and stories with dogs."
