Why watch the movie Do Not Expect Too Much from the End of the World?
"To start discussing Do Not Expect Too Much From The End Of The World, it's worth mentioning one thing: if something earns applause from John Waters (Pink Flamingos), you can be sure it will be wild. Directed by the provocative Romanian filmmaker Radu Jude (Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn), the story follows a busy and underpaid production assistant (Ilinca Manolache) who must film a safety video for a multinational company. However, a statement in the video sparks a controversy that spirals into chaos. Filmed as a mockumentary, the film is a fierce, intriguing, and hilariously acidic critique of modern society, its vices, its cynicism, and its contradictions. Featuring Nina Hoss (Tár) and Uwe Boll, considered one of the worst filmmakers in history."
