Why watch the movie Once Upon a Time In Ukraine?
"Once Upon a Time in Ukraine - A bold reinvention of classic American westerns and Asian martial arts films, directed by Roman Perfilyev. The plot follows the adventures of Taras Shevchenko (Roman Lutskyi), a literary icon and activist turned servant, who teams up with the samurai Akayo Nakamura (Sergey Strelnikov) to take revenge on feudal lords and slave traders. This film, which moves away from a faithful representation of Ukrainian culture, stands out for its stylized narrative and incessant action, offering a unique cinematic experience full of twists and turns."
