Why watch the movie Force Majeure?
"Force Majeure centers its entire story on one pivotal moment: during an avalanche, a father makes the decision to run away, leaving his wife and children behind. The crux of the matter is that everyone survives, but the father is left to grapple with this immensely complex moral dilemma. Did he prioritize himself over his wife and kids? What was his intention in running away? Swedish director Ruben Östlund (Triangle of Sadness) weaves a narrative deeply rooted in this conflict, illustrating how a single action can ultimately lead to far greater complications than anticipated."
