Wu is a poor local boy, who runs a bed and breakfast in Penghu. Yeh Fenfen is a rich Chinese girl, who comes from China's Shanxi Province to see the islet that she inherited from her deceased parents. The two get off on the wrong foot when they first meet, but gradually they overcome their differences and fall in love. Meanwhile, external problems put their newly found love on trial.
