Why watch the movie Ajji?
"Bollywood cinema always stands out for its technical quality and super productions - and 'Ajji' is yet another example, although it is completely different from the festive and colorful atmosphere that comes to mind when people think of Indian productions. The feature film tells the story of a grandmother who, after her 10-year-old granddaughter is raped, plots a revenge plan in search of justice after the police identify the rapist as the son of a famous politician. The director is an expert in creating an engaging atmosphere in his films, bringing a dark environment - which gains an extra degree of depth from the performances of the cast. And what performances! A work for those with a strong stomach."
