Why watch the movie The Golden Dream?
"A road movie through Latin America's hinterland, with two young people searching for the way to the US - but, in the process, discovering a bit more of our own underworld. With a smooth screenplay, sharp criticism and many non-actors, the feature is a pleasant and emotional surprise from a filmmaker who had previously only directed a few short films."
