"Rooney Mara looks great as 'Mary Magdalene', unfortunately the female role gets lost in the story - which ends up giving a bigger protagonism to Jesus, played by Joaquin Phoenix, in several moments of the production. Despite this, director Garth Davis, from 'Lion: A Journey Home', did a good job on the movie."
