Left for dead on Mars, an astronaut must find a way to survive and contact Earth.
Trailer
Why watch the movie The Martian?
"The maxim of "adapt or die" is taken to the extreme in this movie, based on Andy Weir's novel 'The Martian'. Better known by its namesake title and directed by Ridley Scott, 'The Martian' is a visually spectacular production made in collaboration with NASA, answering the question of whether it is possible to survive on Mars. Above all, it is also a story of human strength in the face of adversity (and a reminder that it is never, under any circumstance, safe to travel with Matt Damon)."
