A Cup of Hope" is a heartwarming story about Jim, a homeless man who finds a lottery ticket belonging to a woman named Claire, who dropped it eleven months earlier. As he waits for her to return, he discovers that the notebook the ticket fell out of is full of children's drawings and writings, which inspire him. When Claire finally shows up and Jim returns the ticket, she discovers that it's a winning ticket worth two million dollars. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Claire insists on sharing half of the winnings with Jim, but he refuses, telling her that seeing her and her children happy is all the reward he needs. The story ends with Jim playing his guitar, now playing perfect notes, as Claire walks away with a smile on her face.
