Starring Gael García Bernal, Alison Pill, Mariana Ximenes, and Jason Priestley. A cartoonist draws a comic about a filmmaker who is making a movie about a writer who, in turn, is writing a book about a cartoonist.

"Zoom is an intriguing film directed by Brazilian Pedro Morelli, with an interesting story and mix of styles, combining animation with live action. The plot follows a comic book artist (Alison Pill), a filmmaker (Gael García), and a novelist (Mariana Ximenes), whose stories are interconnected by a strange creative link: the filmmaker is a character from the comic book, and he is directing a film about the novelist, who in turn writes about the comic book artist, and the events and decisions in one’s life affect their respective creations. It’s a clever premise for reflecting on how life and art constantly interact. Especially when the end arrives, it’s best not to focus on the logical implications of what happens: it won’t make much sense, but as an experiment on the creative act, it’s a fascinating film."
