Why watch the movie Venom?
"Sony's first movie intended to create a "Spiderverse" populated by characters based on Spider-Man comics, although the Wall-Crawler, now in the creative hands of Marvel Studios, can't appear. The film is based on the 1990s comic book antihero Venom, and stars Tom Hardy ("Mad Max: Fury Road") and Michelle Williams ("Manchester by the Sea") in the lead roles. The story blends elements of action, horror, sci-fi, and bits of humor, all aimed at the teenage demographic or those looking for mindless entertainment without being concerned about the story too much."
