George is an extremely depressed family man that is contemplating suicide one night when he is interrupted by an angel sent from heaven to save George in order to earn his wings. He is taken into an alternate reality to see what life would be like if he really died in an attempt to help him appreciate his life. This goes horribly wrong however and spins George into an even darker depression.
