"This long feature is a darker and more bad-boy-visual re-enacting of Aquaman, done by Zack Snyder in 'Batman vs. Superman', who cast Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo from 'Game of Thrones') for the role, but recovers elements from a more recent phase of the character in the comics to bring color and humor. The result is a dynamic and energetic movie, which takes the hero back to Atlantis. Even though the story itself doesn't take advantage of the depth proposed at its beginning, getting lost in all the battles between characters, it should entertain those who look for an unpretentious action movie. The cast also features illustrious presences such as Nicole Kidman (who plays the mother of the titular character), Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson (the main villain, The Ocean Master) and Amber Heard."
