A Sea of Trash is a portuguese documentary by Tânia Paiva and Tiago Mendes dos Santos about the biggest beach cleaning action in Portugal. In May 2019, for 18 days, hundreds of volunteers from the "Sea's Brigade" association collected 20 tons of garbage, along the 45 kilometers between Troia and Melides, in the county of Grândola. In the beginning, "Sea's Brigade" collected twice this amount of garbage in the same location.
