Tiny living creatures can be found in each aquatic habitat. They are small but of great importance. They are the masters of survival. The third-year biology student, Barnabás Álmos Becz is simply intrigued by this world. Besides his studies, now he becomes the participant of a real expedition from the high peaks of the Carpathians to the alkaline lakes of the Great Hungarian Plain. He sets out for the adventure in a camper van with his own mini laboratory, where soon aquariums will be filled and cameras attached to microscopes will be waiting for the new discoveries. Álmos unveils the secrets of weird creatures that influence our lives in a thousand ways: the hidden world of sun-animacules, ciliate communities, vorticellae and flagellated protozoae is outlined for the viewer, while you can also meet expert reaserchers at various locations, who contribute to making the picture whole.
