Why watch the movie Savage?
"Camille Vidal-Naquet's directorial debut, which she also wrote and produced, has already earned her selection in the Critics Week of the Cannes Film Festival. This is a powerful (and, we can say, “wild”) account of a French male prostitute's life through the nightlife, relationships with numerous men, and involvement in fights, prejudice, drugs, and partying. Thus, an honest and engaging narrative about love, power, prejudice, and desire is constructed, revealing the difficult life of these sex workers."
