A homeless man, Anacleto, loses his running shoes to a fellow homeless man, Arthur. A young ad executive invites him to star in a commercial, giving him a new pair of shoes. Anacleto then runs non-stop during filming, surprising everyone.

Anacleto corre com um enorme sorriso no rosto junto ao Rio Tejo. A sua silhueta destaca-se de todas as outras: magro, rosto enrugado e garridos ténis cor-de-laranja e verde fluorescente. Toma duche diariamente no Balneário Municipal de Alcântara, rumando de seguida para a sua cama de cartão na Praça do Comércio. Entre outros sem-abrigo, partilha a sua morada com Artur que, certo dia, lhe rouba os seus sapatos de corrida. Deprimido, Anacleto passa os dias a observar as pessoas que correm. Afonso, um jovem publicitário, convida-o para ser protagonista de um filme de publicidade. Anacleto, quando se vê com uns sapatos novos nos pés, durante a rodagem corre sem parar, deixando para trás a equipa estupefacta.
Anacleto runs with a huge smile on his face beside the River Tagus. Its silhouette stands out from all others: thin, wrinkled face and tennis gaudy-colored fluorescent orange and green. Take a shower every day in the Spa City Alcântara, then headed to his bed card in Commerce Square. Among other homeless people, sharing their "home" with Arthur, who one day steals your running shoes. Depressed, Anacleto spends his days watching people running. Afonso, a young advertising executive, invites him to be a protagonist of a film advertising. Anacleto, when he sees with new shoes in his feet during the filming, he runs without stopping, leaving behind the team stunned.
